Today’s course was dedicated to cosmic rays in the magnetosphere and atmosphere of the Earth.
Prof. Alexander Mishev introduced us to « Ground-based observations of solar energetic particles (SEPs) » with a lot of details on the magnetosphere itself and particles transport/interactions inside it, but also how the different detectors work, the definition of a GLE, etc.
The afternoon, as usual, was devoted to practicing these new notions and skills.
