The first representation of the SPEARHEAD project was at the European Geosciences Union (EGU) General Assembly that took part in Vienna last week from 14-18 April 2024.
Related presentations were given by:
Eleni Lavasa (National Observatory of Athens) at Session ST1.2 | Solar Orbiter: connecting the Sun and the inner Heliosphere (EGU24-17889)
and
Marlon Köberle (Christian-Albrechts-Universitat zu Kiel) Session ST1.5 | Energetic Particles and Shocks in the Heliosphere and as a Space Weather Hazard (EGU24-8445)
Many of the SPEARHEAD’s partners were present in EGU2024: Prof. Rami Vainio, Dr Jan Gieseler, Dr Diana Morosan and Christian Palmroos from the University of Turku; Dr A. Mishev from the University of Oulu; Dr Alexis Rouillard from IRAP, Universite Paul Sabatier Toulouse III; Prof. Bernd Heber and Marlon Köberle from the Christian-Albrechts-Universitat zu Kiel and Eleni Lavasa from the National Observatory of Athens.
EGU2024 provided a forum for interaction, discussion and collaboration among the partners of SPEARHEAD and for communicating the first results, the current progress and future steps of the project to the scientific community at large.
